Bracknell Forest Cross Country Relays

On Friday 13th, 60+ teams from local schools took part in the Bracknell Forest Cross Country Relays including 4 teams of year 3-6 children from Wildmoor Heath School. The worst storms of the year had been forecast and we arrived at the site in driving rain. The weather did eventually relent but left behind mud, mud and more mud!

Although our results weren't as good as we would have liked, the children were all in good spirits and really supported all their team members.

When I was at South Hill Park, I was excited but gutted when I saw there were lots of fast runners. It was really tough to go up the hill in the mud. I got really exhausted because it was a long track - it was harder than I expected" - Cameron
