This term in Art, Year 2 have been diving into the world of Rodney McCoubrey, an artist known for creating sea creatures using recycled materials. Inspired by his imaginative work, the children explored how everyday objects can be transformed into amazing pieces of art!

As part of their learning:

• The children designed and sculpted their own fish using clay, carefully adding textures and patterns.

• They then used recycled materials such as bottle tops, cardboard and plastic to create their very own fantastical sea creatures—just like McCoubrey!
