Sporting Events
Wildmoor Heath School are proud to participate in a number of sporting events that are organised within school and in the wider community. Inter-house events are organised for the Wildmoor pupils and the classes are encouraged to compete within their sports Houses. These events are supported by the House Captains and the Deputy House Captains.
Bracknell Forest School Sport Partnership (BFSSP) provides numerous competitive and non-competitive sporting events for local schools throughout the year. These events are inclusive and offer opportunities for all children. Wildmoor Heath attends an abundance of these events and encourages all children to be active.
As well as participating in events, Wildmoor Heath also experiences a variety of PE lessons delivered by professional sports coaches from BFSSP. They offer PE opportunities such as tag rugby, dance, tennis and ball skill sessions. Each class receives coaching from these external coaches each year.
Wildmoor Heath is also grateful for the PE coaching from pupils from Wellington College. The pupils provide excellent PE lessons for our junior classes.
Below and in the photos section, you'll find images of the children participating in these wonderful events.

Children in years 5 and 6 were given a wonderful opportunity; to swim in a gala at Wellington Health and Fitness Club. This was a unique opportunity because we're the only school that has been given access to hire their facilities. The swimmers were provided with a swimming coach and a lifeguard, and they created a wonderful swimming event where the children participated in swimming races in their houses. They also participated in fun obstacle races too. The children and staff loved it. Let's hope we can join in again next year.
