About the PTA

Wildmoor Heath PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

What is Wildmoor Heath PTA?

Wildmoor Heath PTA is a charity.  It is a group of parents, carers and teachers who volunteer their time to raise money for the school. The funds raised are used to improve the experience and facilities for all pupils to enjoy, whilst organising events that provide an opportunity for pupils and their families to come together as a community.

Who can join the PTA?

Any parent, carer or teacher from the Wildmoor Heath School community!  The PTA meets once every 6 weeks via a zoom call for 45 minutes to discuss ideas, plan activities, vote on funding requests from the school and any updates relating to the PTA.  Everyone is welcome to join a PTA meeting (Do not worry if it’s your first time, we have all been there and we will be delighted to see some new faces).  If you would like to receive the link for the next PTA meeting, please email  ptawildmoorheath@gmail.com or let your class rep know.

Who organises the PTA?

Every new school year there is an AGM (Annual General Meeting) for the old committee to stand down and for a new committee to be voted in.

Why should I join the PTA?

There are so many reasons to join the PTA, here are just some of them:

  • Helping to raise vital funds for the school
  • Meeting other parents and getting to know the wider school community
  • Voting on the school funding requests
  • Be a part of a very enthusiastic PTA team, where there is no pressure to take on responsibility – You can do as much or as little as you like.
  • Organising or volunteering on fun activities for all Wildmoor Heath families to enjoy

How do I get involved?

To get involved with the PTA, it is really easy!

You can either contact us by email ptawildmoorheath@gmail.com, your class rep, attend a PTA meeting or simply let the school office know.

We are open to talking to new parents and will be happy to answer any questions you may have relating to the PTA.

Wildmoor Heath has an incredible school community and the PTA is a great way to get involved.  You do not have to give up a lot of time to help and a little help goes a long way!
