Wildmoor Heath School

Introduction

Wildmoor Heath is a thriving, community school with an inclusive, child-centred approach, focused on the well-being and achievement of every one of our pupils and staff.

In 2019, we were delighted to achieve outstanding academic results, exceeding national expectations, in all the primary phases - the Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 Phonics Awareness Check and the important Year 6 SATs. This is a credit to our exceptional teaching team and a testament to the determination and self-esteem of our pupils.

An important part of our local community for over 150 years we provide excellent teaching and learning for boys and girls aged four to eleven years old.  For many families, Wildmoor Heath is their school of preference. Our pupil numbers have increased significantly recently; we are now full for entry to Reception in September 2020.

We have waiting lists in Years 4, 5 and 6. In Years 1, 2 and 3 we have a few places available. All applications to join our school should be made through Bracknell Forest Local Authority, including those parents who wish to join our waiting lists (e-mail: schooladmissions@bracknell-forest.gov.uk). Please visit our School Admissions page to find out more information.

If you would like to experience our unique school and learning approach, please call the school office on 01344 772034 or contact Mrs Attfield on: secretary@wildmoorheath.org.uk.

We are proud to have achieved Level 1 of UNICEF's Rights Respecting Schools (RRS) Award.  This means that we are explicitly embedding the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in our policy, practice and culture and the children are beginning to see themselves as global citizens and advocates for fairness and children’s rights locally and globally.

At Wildmoor Heath we are proud to follow the National Curriculum from Years 1 to 6 and the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in Reception.

Please telephone the school office on 01344 772034 to make an appointment to visit us and find out how we can support your child and nurture them to achieve their full potential.
