Opportunities
At Wildmoor Heath, we strive to give children different opportunities, such as learning from sporting coaches, attending different sporting events, creating art for our school art gallery, performing on stage and representing the school in other external events.
Children are also invited to represent the school through a variety of leadership roles and responsibilities, including positions such as school council representatives, head boy and girl, deputy head boy and girl, eco ambassadors, kindness ambassadors, IT ambassadors, play leaders, and house captains. These roles allow pupils to actively contribute to the school community, develop important life skills, and embody the values of teamwork, responsibility, and leadership.
Christmas Performances
This December, the spirit of Christmas will fill the school as pupils from Reception to Year 6 take to the stage for our much-anticipated festive performances.
- Reception and Year 1 Nativity: Our youngest pupils will delight audiences with a heartwarming Nativity play, retelling the traditional Christmas story with songs, costumes, and plenty of charm. This cherished event is a wonderful way for our little ones to shine and for families to celebrate the magic of the season together.
- Years 2 to 6 Christmas Play: Older pupils will bring their own unique contributions to this year’s Christmas play, featuring cheerful songs, dramatic scenes, and a touch of festive humor. These performances highlight the creativity and collaboration of our talented pupils while spreading the joy of the season.
Year 5 Talent Show
As we look ahead to the summer, we’re excited to announce the Year 5 Talent Show. This end-of-year event provides a platform for pupils to share their unique skills and passions with peers, staff, and families. Whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, or another special talent, this is a wonderful opportunity for self-expression and confidence-building in a supportive environment.
Celebrating Creativity and Collaboration
Through these creative events, we aim to inspire pupils to step out of their comfort zones, work collaboratively, and experience the joy of performing. These opportunities are about more than the final performance—they’re a chance for children to grow, learn, and create cherished memories.
Keep an eye on the newsletter and our website for updates about performance dates and how you can join us to celebrate these special moments!
