Values

WILDMOOR HEATH SCHOOL VALUES

Our values are determined by our pupils.

They are Respect, Empathy, Aspirations, Courage and Honesty.

These are part of our motto:

We celebrate our values every day in school and ensure that they are upheld by all our learners and staff. We focus on one value per half term and at the end of each year, we review our values to ensure they are relevant in the ever-changing world. We support our learners to develop the behaviours and learning attitudes that are consistent with our values.

British Values

We promote 'British Values', which are wholly consistent with our school values. British values are defined by the government as:

  • democracy
  • the rule of law
  • individual liberty
  • mutual respect, and
  • tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

These values are promoted and upheld in our school assemblies, across the curriculum and through enrichment activities.

For more details on how we promote British Values at Wildmoor Heath, please click on the attached document below.

To recognise the children's achievement towards our values, they work towards Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Phoenix Awards during their time at the school.
